Playing truant one afternoon, a schoolboy bumps into his father coming out of the cinema with a woman. It's shattering moment for the boy, but worse, his father is a dissident. Coloured teacher, and his affair is no common case of marital infidelity. This is South Africa under apartheid, and his mistress is a white woman.
